Nurtured over the last six months with help from the Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme, Afri-Kin aims to create bespoke videos that promote community projects and cultural activity, with a strong focus on the African diaspora in Sheffield and in the United Kingdom as a whole.

“I can’t wait to share my passion for videography with my city,” said Ndrika Anyika, Sheffield native and creator of Afri-Kin.

“I started the business because I had a strong desire to find out about community projects I could join in my local area, as well as to learn more about businesses that cater to the black community.

“Afri-Kin is about promoting the African diaspora in the UK, their businesses and also the community organisations that connect our society as a whole. I want to shine a light on these businesses and organisations who undeniably add to the intricate economic and social tapestry of the UK.”

There will also be a chance for business owners to win a bespoke video – worth £599 – courtesy of Afri-Kin.
