Etsy Made Local 2017

The festive season is so close that we can almost smell the mince pies and taste the mulled wine, and that means it’s also time to think about Christmas shopping. At this time of year there’s much enjoyment to be found in exploring the pop-up Christmas markets and there are few other places that you can find such a wonderful abundance of independent traders from in and around Sheffield as you can at Etsy Made Local, hosted by Sheffield Sellers on Etsy.

On the 2nd and 3rd of December, Sheffield Sellers on Etsy are bringing Etsy Made Local to Sheffield for the third successive year in the historic and beautiful surroundings of Cutlers’ Hall. There’ll be more than seventy creative businesses taking part and you’ll be able to explore the entire first floor of the Hall, which will of course be accessible to both wheelchairs and pushchairs.

It’s free entry all weekend and there’ll be lots of lovely gifts on offer, from homewares and ceramics, to contemporary jewellery and fashion accessories, by local makers and creators including Imogen’s Imagination, Sheffield Mug Co, Takara Crafts and Maxwell Harrison Jewellery to name but a few. You can see the full list of traders here.

And when you need to take a break from shopping, why not enjoy light refreshments in the cafe or a well-earned G&T in the bar? There’s also the opportunity to indulge in a delicious afternoon tea which can be pre-booked here.

So be sure to click attending on the Facebook event and have a look at the Sheffield Sellers gift guides to find out more about who’ll be there and what they’ll be bringing. We’ll see you there!
