Word Life was commissioned by Sheffield Hallam University to create a digital literature map of Sheffield.
The project evolved from our previous digital mapping project 21 poets for Sheffield. Writing Sheffield is an attempt to bring all of the various different literature institutions and places of literary interest together in one website.
The website links to over 4 hours of linked video and also includes information on everything from local literature festivals to regular events to historical reference points in Sheffield’s historical past. It’s a one stop shop for Sheffield’s literature community and the first point of call to find out about the local scene.
