Farriers Market

A brand new market is coming to Neepsend featuring great food and fantastic gifts from local independent traders and makers on the 12th and 13th December. Where you can not only pick up presents for the season that shall not be named, but also stay on through the evening enjoying the musical offerings and excellent bar.

Many of you will know Yellow Arch for the incredible musicians that have graced both its stages and its recording studios. What you may not know is that the building was originally built and first used by a married couple, who farriered horses for local businesses. During it’s recent and spectacular refurbishment the crew uncovered the original fossilized oak beam lintels where once stood the huge horses that used to work the factories and mills of Neepsend. From this little historical gem we have Farriers Market.

Expect gypsy jazz buskers popping up from no where, great food from local faves Percy and Lily and the Nether Edge Pizza Co. and of course, mulled wine. Plus you know, market stalls. With wares ranging from antiques to chutney, vinyl to earrings and vintage clothes to art work, you’ll be sure to find a gift for even the fussiest auntie.

On Sunday Yellow Arch’s popular open mic session will be on the main stage during the day, whilst Saturday evening will be dedicated to some special musical guests – we don’t know who, but we know that since it’s Yellow Arch, so it’s gonna be good.

Keep up to date here.
