Back for a second year, the Valentine’s Pop-Up Shop will be returning to Sheffield’s Winter Garden. Opening its doors on Thursday 1st February and going right through to the big day on the 14th, it’ll be open daily from 10am ’til 4pm and will feature gifts that have been hand-crafted with tender love and care to really encapsulate the true meaning of Valentine’s Day. 
The six traders that have been selected for the pop-up are a collection of local micro-businesses that can typically only be found at markets or online so this is a rare opportunity for you to view their products first-hand and chat to the people who make them.
If you visited last year you’ll be pleased to know that handmade chocolates and sweet treats from Dandelion Cocoa, cocktail-inspired loose leaf tea blends from Craft Tea Company, handmade sterling silver jewellery from Maxwell Harrison Jewellery and colourful Valentine’s cards, embroidered homewares and accessories created by Fizzy Pigg will all be returning. Alongside these will be two wonderful new additions, namely Lovely Cosmetics, who create artisan beauty products, and Upsydaisy Craft, who’ll be bringing their range of quirky handmade ceramics.
Sorrel Bothan, owner of Dandelion Cocoa, said, “We want to show people that Valentine’s gifts don’t have to be gaudy, mass-produced items from high street chains. Each purchase supports a local, independent maker.”
The pop-up was hugely successful last year and this year we think it’ll be even better, so whether you’re treating a partner, relative, best friend or even just yourself, pop down to the Winter Garden & pick up a fabulous gift.
