Wordlife 10th Birthday Anthology & Tour

To celebrate Wordlife’s 10^th Birthday we published our first ever anthology supported by a national reading tour.

The book was edited by Wordlife’s director Joe Kriss and includes 52 different writers, all of whom Wordlife has worked with directly over the last ten years. Writers included in the anthology are Lemn Sissay, Hollie McNish, Buddy Wakefield, Salena Godden, Luke Wright and Helen Mort. The anthology was launched at poetry events in London, Wakefield, Sheffield, Manchester and Lincoln. Over 450 people came to the anthology launch events.

We also held our 10th Birthday event at Weston Park Museum on the 25th November featuring readings from an array of poets including Hollie McNish, Scott Tyrrell, Kayo Chingonyi. As part of the celebrations we projected four poem films onto Weston Park Museum which you can see in full below;
