Opus is driven by the many individuals and groups who create, innovate and collaborate with us. But at the heart of our organisation is our worker-owned and controlled governance board, which steers the direction of our work in Sheffield and beyond.

I am the current Chair of the Opus Board, Opus Distribution Manager, and Opus Wellbeing Officer.

As a Founder of Opus and long-time board member, I have been working with the company since its inception, bringing experience in events, hospitality and children with special education needs.

I am the Artistic Director and CEO of queer arts organisation, Andro and Eve.

I am a Director of Opus and work across many of the company’s projects, with a particular focus on Festival of Debate and Wordlife.

I am one of the stewards of the People's Newsroom project at Opus. For over 10 years I have been working at the intersection of systems change, community organising and journalism.

I joined the Opus team in November 2021 as Social Media and Communications Coordinator. As a relative newcomer to Sheffield, I have enjoyed becoming more immersed in the local community and learning about the city’s rich history of activism.

I’m a Director at Opus. My main role is as Editor-in-Chief of Now Then Magazine, which I’ve done since 2009.

Originally from Warsaw, based in Barcelona, I joined Opus in the summer of 2023  to support the flourishing of both the  Neighborhood Democracy Movement and the Universal Basic Income Lab Network.

Over the last 25 years, I have used my extensive knowledge, skills and experience in marketing research and consumer psychology to help diverse private and public sector organisations strategically, practically and effectively monitor, track and apply behavioural change insights.

As a board member and general associate of Opus for much of the last decade, I have recently stepped up my involvement with the organisation, working across digital media content and the diverse event and festival programme.
