Tchiyiwe Chihana

Tchiyiwe works across multiple undertakings at Opus, some of which include Demonstrators, Festival of Debate, Give Over, Foundations Earth, 25x25 and UBI Lab Network.

She is a transformative content creator, who contributes to Now Then magazine and delves into storytelling that converges humanity and systemic exploration. Up to January 2024, she served as Director at Opus and she co-stewards The People's Newsroom, a hub that creates learning and action for people and organisations to face interlinked crises with imagination, vision and new processes for returning stories and storytelling to our communities.

Until March 2024, she served as Chair of the Independent Media Association (IMA) which champions independent journalism, uniting over 60 media organisations across the UK.
