Opus Films seeks to communicate the ideas we think can leverage impact upstream, to help make sense of the world around us, and paint a picture of the society we want to live in. Our current projects include:

  • A feature documentary on Universal Basic Income and the UBI Lab Network (pre-planning).
  • A feature documentary on the campaign for legal personhood of our rivers (pre-planning).
  • Stories From The Pandemic in partnership with Sheffield City Council, Sheffield City Archives and Compassionate Sheffield – documenting stories and experiences from the pandemic – a lasting testimony from Sheffield.
  • Advance Care Planning – a project with NHS/GPs in the city, to help develop film materials to engage people in end of life care, and assist with process and co-design initiatives.
  • Supporting Festival of Debate to reach a wider audience through updating its digital and online platform.
  • A variety of short promotional films for various organisations in the arts, culture and civil society.
