Sheffield Stories from the Pandemic: A lasting testimony from Sheffield
Delivered by Opus Independents, Stories From the Pandemic will form part of Sheffield’s Covid-19 memorial tribute plans, in partnership with Sheffield City Council, Sheffield City Archives, and Compassionate Sheffield. The project aims to gather stories from the people of Sheffield to inform and strengthen the city’s memorial plans.
Throughout the last year we have been documenting stories and experiences from people in Sheffield, through a mixture of filmed interviews, self submissions and postcard submissions.
The next phase of the project will present the gathered testimony via exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, online and through community exhibitions, and will integrate with the city’s wider memorial plans.
