With a company tagline of ‘Open air theatre at its best’, Heartbreak productions have set their stall out rather firmly. Considering however, that they have been running successful open air theatre events in the Botanical Gardens for as far back as I can remember and that each year they are invited back to do it all over again! It’s probably fair to say they know what they are erm… playing about.
Picture yourself with a blanket thrown haphazardly on green grass, picnic dips, crisps and cocktail sausages on display, a reassuring quantity of wine by your side and a grin spreading across your face as you watch this years remaining performances of Pride and Prejudice or Pinocchio.
This is an event suitable for all ages, and is genuinely a summer show not to be missed. There is covered seating available for an additional £3 per ticket. Tickets can be bought from Sheffield Theatres 0114 249 6000 or alternatively (and minus booking fee) from Heartbreak Productions themselves.
