THE BIG EYES FAMILY PLAYERS
Playing a blend of experimental chamber folk-pop music, their set to release a new album ‘folk songs II’ on Static Caravan Records this month and we re lucky enough to be hosting the party.
With release collaborating with folk such as James Yorkston, members of A Hawk and A Hacksaw, Rachel’s and more, on a variety of high profile labels, ‘TBEFP’ have been pushing forward original and inspiring sounds for a decade or so.
Expect live sets from the band in various forms, previews of the album and support from….

David Broadhurst and his band are another fantastic band from Sheffield, with intelligent and ambitious tunes, not to dissimilar from bands like smog. Their arrangements complete with double bass and violin are full of tense crescendos and an air of grandeur that is quite special.

LEEDS CITY STOMPERS
For those of you who are regulars to Thursdays at the Riverside you may remember the Old Time String Band smash out some vintage 20s and 30s classics in full vintage attire a few weeks ago, or David Broad, Leeds based fingerpicker extraordinaire of many an Opus Acoustics. This is there combined forces in action and it promises to be special!
