Richard Combes

SNIG HILL GALLERY,  S3 8NB
7TH DECEMBER – 11TH JANUARY

Manchester-born, New York based artist Richard Combes will be displaying a selection of his work at Snig Hill Gallery over the next month. A member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters since 2004 – no small accolade, we can assure you – Richard is an incredibly skilled artist whose work cannot be done justice by a small snapshot image on the web. While his subjects are often commonplace, his technique is stunning and well worth seeing in the flesh.

Richard’s work explores the relationship between architecture and people, with a focus on enlivening seemingly empty spaces and reflecting solitude through the study of everyday objects.

Over 30 pieces will be displayed at Snig Hill Gallery until 11th January, with some measuring in at over 5 feet.

A private viewing will take place on Wednesday 12th December, 6pm till 8pm, with additional performance art by Camilla Brokenshire and food from Boutique Aromatique.

Delivered in association with Dukeries Art Gallery in Worksop, this is a great opportunity to see the work of an internationally renowned, award-winning fine artist. All works exhibited will also be available for purchase.
